Mini Rewards for playing Pogo Games on Facebook

Pogo Games is now offering Mini Rewards while playing games on Facebook!

When you play games you earn experience points which will advance you in levels 1 through 50.

The criteria differs from game to game but your experience points are shown after each round.

Presently, Turbo 21, First Class Solitaire, Mahjong Safari, Word Womp, Sweet Tooth, Trivial Pursuit, Yahtzee Party, Bingo Luau, Boggle Bash, and Poppit and available to play.

My only opposition is this is right now, a Facebook only feature. I don't want to play pogo on another site. But that isn't stopping me from doing this.

Is it normal to let Pogo have permission to access all of your personal information on FB in order to play the games? I don't think I want them bothering my friends. Yet it won't let me continue to Pogo Games unless I allow them access.

It's not just Pogo, but most things you do on Facebook, you will get that message.

When i play more than 10 min on Word whomp i cant receive more points and have to come back after an hour or so to be able to gain experience points again. Anyone else have this problem?

XP is capped like tokens are in some games. [groan]

The XP limits mentioned by Pogo are 100 per hour and 400 per day.

You do need to allow Pogo access to your personal information to play their games on Facebook, but you control how much they interfere with your friends.  For an example, when you win a mini award, you are asked if you wish to share the information.  If you accept to share, a notice will be posted on your friend's walls stating you had just won an award through the Pogo games on Facebook.  However, you can choose to skip the notice and therefore, your friends will not receive that notification.  I hope that makes sense to you Freddie.

If I'm understanding this correctly - you would establish a Facebook account and then play Pogo through FB and then the mini items are yours to use in Pogo?  Or are they used in FB?  I'm a bit leery of FB -- we've gotten notices at work that FB is not an overly secure site and so far I haven't wanted to sign up for it.  Sometimes, they've got all access blocked to FB (for instance if I log on to PA, where the FB "click here if you like" is X'd out).  I think that makes sense.  I know a lot of people who do FB, but I'm still a bit hesitant to jump over there.

Also - if I play on FB and move in rank, will those ranks reflect back to Pogo?  For example, I play Trivial Pursuit on FB -- when I complete X weeks, will that rank then be reflected when I play Pogo normally?

As you can tell - I am totally in the dark about all of this!!

I am not entirely sure about the FB-pogo connection & the minis (go figure, right?), but I do have an answer for you regarding your rank. Your ranks are indeed connected to pogo. I've played Sweet Tooth 2 on facebook (using my pogo name) & have ranked, and it has indeed been reflected on pogo. As for your questions, Jeff? Lisa? Lol...

FLC, the mini items you win on Facebook through the Pogo Games application are usable on Pogo.  You can find these items by going to the Mini Mall Homepage and clicking on "All My Items" under the Quick Links area.
